Chris and I decided this year for Valentine's Day that our "date" was going to be a family affair. Chris took 3 gals out on the town last night. We just wanted to let our little girls know that that they are important to us so instead of spending a date to be with each other, we spent a date doing everything for our little girls.
This was on the way to our date. They were allowed to watch TV...that never happens on short trips....eat both of the suckers they got from the dump when we took trash...we consolidated date night with some errands....and Mommy made them "juicie water"...that is what Hannah calls KoolAide. All of these very big treats!
Here we go!! Daddy got to do all the bowling with the girls as my left knee just is not stable enough to be on a slippery floor, let alone plant it to throw the ball.
"I can do this on my own Dad!" She just wants be be our big girl so bad that she does not like too much help!
She may think that she is a big girl, but she is still so little to us! How quickly our time together is already passing and it has only been (almost in one month) three years!
"I still need your hand Daddy."
"Ball!"
It seems like Jessa grew over night! Her vocabulary is broad for her age and she can walk...
.....when she wants!
Crawling is just way easier!
Keeping score. Look at that lefty! She does that all the time.
Done bowling! Time to go to the Drive In for some chicken strips and french fries...another treat that does not happen all the time!
After their big date the little princesses went home, took a relaxing bath, had a bed time story and then drifted off into dreamland. There is not a day that goes by that we don't thank God for giving us such wonderful children. There is not doubt in our minds that we have been blessed, and we pray that the blessings keep coming! I hope that you all have fun celebrating Valentine's Day like we did. (We did our's on Saturday because cows and ranching know no time. Our heifers will not feel the love as they will be getting shots on Valentine's day!) We had so much fun honoring our children and taking a day just to focus on them and show them our love.
"And now these three remain: faith, hope, and love. But the greatest of these is love" ~1 Corinthians 13:13
